Summary:
Your bush plane swoops low over the Rufiji River on its approach to the Selous Game Reserve, a dramatic arrival to the World Heritage Site and one of the largest conservation areas in Africa. During your three day stay in the Selous, you can choose between walking, boating and vehicle safaris. Selous is the only place in Tanzania where boating safaris are available and one of the few places in Tanzania where such excellent bush walking is available. Your last four days are spent in Ruaha National Park, some of the prettiest bush in Africa and Tanzania's largest park. Ruaha has diverse habitats to explore which makes for an abundance of game drive choices. Alternatively, you can arrange a half or full day accompanied walking safari to get you out of the vehicle and to feel Africa beneath your feet again before the safari ends. You return to Dar es Salaam early afternoon on Day Eight.

Includes: flights Dar – Mikumi - Ruaha – Dar; all accommodation and food on safari; guide fees; park and reserve fees; two daily game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles or full day drives.
